We're seeking a passionate and experienced Workers' Compensation Adjuster II to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be on the front lines, providing exceptional customer-focused handling of lost time complex claims. You'll use your expertise to investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims, ensuring fair and timely outcomes. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from your home office, while still being part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Your Work Will Make a Difference By:
Being a Problem Solver: Investigate and settle complex workers' compensation claims, interviewing all relevant parties and evaluating coverage.
Managing Litigation: Oversee litigated claims and manage litigation expenses within budget.
Creating Action Plans: Develop and implement effective claim management strategies to ensure timely resolution and positive outcomes.
Building Relationships: Collaborate with agents, brokers, insureds, and other departments to provide exceptional service.
Staying Up-to-Date: Maintain professional knowledge through training and industry events.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience handling workers' compensation litigated and lost time claims in Virginia.
A valid NC or reciprocal state adjuster license (other licenses are a plus!).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and claims management systems.
A valid driver's license for occasional travel.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
